Built in Spain from the best materials and components, this Picursa mulcher mounts onto any model of excavator or backhoe from 8 to 14 tonnes. Equipped with a rotor featuring 360-degree swinging hammers in 3 rows, the hammers back out of the way when hitting rocks or foreign objects, protecting the rotor from damage. Plus, the positioning of the hammers on the rotor gives you a super fine shred of material that’s evenly spread out over the terrain.

The Picursa Retro Spider mulcher is designed for machines in the 8 to 14 tonne weight range and can be mounted onto almost any model of excavator or backhoe in that range.

The hammers simply swing out of the way when hitting rocks or foreign objects, protecting the rotor from damage and keeping downtime to a minimum.

The hydraulic gear motor requires a lot less oil flow than a piston motor, which makes it perfect for use on smaller excavators or older machines with low oil flow. If you need more torque, you can always upgrade to a hydraulic piston motor.

The hammers are very heavy duty and solid giving maximum life, they tend to self sharpen giving maximum performance through the life of the hammer.

You bet! A custom hitch can be made to fit your specific excavator or backhoe model, and we even offer a detachable foot on the hitch as an option.
