Lower Plate
The lower plate on the skid is made from 12mm Hardox making it incredibly tough and wear resistant. the extra width gives excellent floatation in soft conditions and will stop the front gouging in when there is a sudden change in incline, minimising scalping etc. The extra width also means they protrude past the belt cover and protects them from posts or trees etc.
Lead in
The gradual lead in at the front of the skids allow them to ride up on loos material rather than bunching it up in front. In addition to this there is a small lead in at the back for when you are reversing into scrub etc.
